The Foundation's vision includes promoting research, education and conservation relating to rhinos and other endangered species, together with providing strategic support for biodiversity conservation programmes and projects. The focus is on the protection and conservation of rhinos and other endangered species, as well as on raising conservation awareness among the people of South Africa and beyond.

The main objectives of the Foundation are:

• The protection and conservation of rhinos and other endangered species in South Africa
• Research and education on the rhinoceros and other endangered species in South Africa
• The protection and conservation of other endangered species in South Africa, and research and education relating to these endangered species
• Maintaining the Shared Universe Conservation Fund in which donations from businesses and individuals will be deposited and invested

The main objectives of the Foundation are:

• Maintaining a high level of biodiversity conservation
• Promoting sustainable use of nature's resources
• Maintaining the integrity of protected areas, both inside and outside formally protected areas, in terms of biodiversity and cultural heritage
• Supporting conservation-based community development projects
• Promoting conservation awareness among the people of Southern Africa
• Provide services to the biodiversity conservation cause and to nature conservationists with the aim of raising standards of best practice for biodiversity conservation Support and facilitate the preservation, restoration or protection of the natural environment, including flora, fauna or the biosphere Provide facilities for the study and enjoyment of biodiversity conservation for the general public
